David Vanderbout is honored to be appointed as the new Director of Choral Music at Jesuit High School. He looks forward to building upon the choral tradition at Jesuit, and in turn fostering a passion for choral music and building a strong community within our program. In addition to serving at Jesuit High School, Mr. Vanderbout is also the Artistic Director for the River City Chorale, one of Sacramento’s longest-standing choral organizations. Mr. Vanderbout received his Master of Music in Choral Conducting and Bachelor of Music in Music Education from California State University, Sacramento. In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Vanderbotu performs regularly as a soloist and in ensembles throughout the region.
