Profile

Craig has been engaged in the commercial real estate industry for over 30 years working exclusively on the financing side. He is a co-founder of Sacramento based Preferred Capital Advisors, a boutique commercial real estate financing advisory firm.  Craig is active member of the Sacramento community and is involved in several local organizations and charities including serving on the finance council at St. Ignatius Parish and Del Paso Country Club.  While his son Cooper was attending St. Ignatius Parish School, Craig completed a six-year commitment where he co-chaired a $6+ million capital campaign and oversaw the construction of a brand-new school and parish office building for both the Parish and School.  Professionally, Craig’s clients include both regional and national developers & investors including family run firms as well as institutionally owned clients.  Craig plays an instrumental role in these companies and has sat on multiple Investment Committee for his clients.    

Prior to the formation of Preferred Capital Advisors, Craig worked for the Panattoni Development Company, Majestic Realty and Union Bank.  In all previous employment, Craig’s focus was on overall debt execution while incorporatingfinancial relationship strategies.        

Craig is an alumnus of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a major in Finance and was a member of the Cal Poly Mens Tennis Team.   He currently resides in Sacramento with his wife Kimberly and son Cooper (JHS Class of ’26),
